Owners and operators Beatrice & Ed Culbreth began in the diamond and jewelry business in 1987. After graduating from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications, Ed went to work for Kay Jewelers training for retail management in a multi-million dollar store. He also trained in the sale of watches, diamonds, and other gemstones - learning the key element of doing business, a high level of customer service. Ed received additional training with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
In 1995, Beatrice & Ed started Culbreth's Jewelers mainly concentrating on doing shows and special events. The response was so great that they decided to open a retail store. Designing the business to concentrate on service first, the rest has taken care of itself. In 1999, Ed started training as a master jeweler from the Holland Jewelry School where he mastered jewelry repair, diamond setting, channel setting, bezel setting, bead setting and casting. He specializes in gold, platinum, and silver reproductions and custom pieces. Our quality of service is high and our prices are competitive.
